Fortnite Season 4 is, formally, less than 24 hours off. Despite what everyone called, Season 3 will be the primary time in Chapter 2 to end without an expansion.
The online and in-game teasers are heating up. Today, August 26, Epic revealed that the thematic word for the summer, Nexus, together with some new comic pages which affirm several previously-leaked skins to the new year. As it turns out, the leaks from Hypex and Tabor Hill simply gave us a couple of days head-start on what Epic would finally release ahead of Season 4.

Wolverine, Iron Man, Groot, Storm, Dr. Doom, and more Marvel characters will all be a part of Season 4 — through the Fight Pass or Item Shop. There are rumors about a dual Fight Pass for Season 4. The news appears promising and realistic, but we are not getting our hopes up, just yet.
Obviously, the teasers aren’t isolated to social media. Epic released an in-game teaser from the form of Bifrost markers out of Weeping Woods. Much like Thor’s Hammer, we expect to see these lifted when Season 4 goes live early in the morning of the 27th.
In terms of the rest of Season 4 will hold, your guess is as good as ours. We’ll have to wait and see what happens tomorrow when the new season goes live. We’ll be up all night reporting on the new season.
